Christmas season arrives once more, children awake with hearts a beatin'; you put the turkey in the oven, but O' holy night, ye cooker's not a heatin'!
Home for christmas family arrives, drunk in joyous mood; jingle bells ring upon the door, of anticipated festive food.
Not to worry your freezer is full, you surely can find something; but 'Hark' the herald angels sing, ye ol' freezer is a melting.
Time to put the kettle on, feeling slightly scorn; get the milk out of the fridge, to feel its nice and warm.
Lovely dinner the family cries, as they fill up on mince pies.
One good thing 'bout no cooking, is the lack of washing up; 'cos when you find the dishwasher's broken, its a bit of luck!
Suggesting a round of family games, monopoly's in the loft; underfoot a christmas cracker, that certainly wasn't soft.
A broken pipe descends a flood upon the guests with fright; especially when the tree sparks off and fuses every light.
These things happen to spoil your ball, but who can you find to answer your call?
